An acute care hospital in beautiful New York is looking to add a Nurse Manager Medical Group to their growing team! This 200
bed hospital is known for providing competent, innovative, and accessible emergency and acute care services to their patients.
They have won countless awards for their services in diabetes care, home care services, recovery unit, trauma care, laboratory services, and much more.
The Nurse Manager Medical Group assumes responsibility and accountability for the overall clinical operations of the Nursing and other clinical (non-provider) staff at all the sites.
He/she provides the essential connection between the strategic plan/organizational goals and the point of care.
They will be responsible for assessing systems and practices that align with the hospital for best practices, quality, regulatory preparedness and organizational effectiveness.
The Nurse Manager Medical Group should have their current New York State Registered Nursing License/Registration, Baccalaureate in Nursing (BSN) required, BLS certification (through American Heart Association) required, ACLS certification (through American Heart Association).
They should also have a certification in an in area of specialty, or CNML (Certified Nurse Manager and Leader) preferred but must be obtained within three (3) years of hire into Nurse Manager role.
